Discover Wheelchair Curling in BC!

After a very successful clinic last weekend in Kelowna, B.C. which saw eight new w/chair curlers come out. Sonja reports that “amongst the participants there was a ton of enthusiasm and lots of natural skill and athletic ability.  This is very exciting as we are trying to increase the interest and participation of our sport both in our local clubs and at the provincial level. I'm looking forward to seeing a "team Kelowna" evolve from this clinic!”

With the province only having two teams at play downs there is an identified need for more recruitment and retention.  With this aspiration they are hosting another clinic at the Langley curling club on January 31 from 1:00 - 5:00. If you would like to participate.The hope is that with three planned w/chair curling novice clinics BC can at least double that participation for 2013.
