Slovakia & USA on Top at Worlds

Slovika Skip
Slovakia contiued to surprise the world by downing Paralympic Gold medalist Canada 5-4 in the third game of the World Wheelchair Curling Championships.

Slovakia stands alone at the top with the USA in the Tournament after the favourites all have losses.
Canada has been playing without the expereince and leadership of Jim Armstrong since his need to return home for personal reason. We hope Canada can pull on there strengths and come back soon before a few more losses. GO CANADA  GO!

The other leader is the USA as they downed Italy 8-3 in 6 ends. Showing that Italy needs to gain more expereince from the top level Coaches avalaible to them. Coach Dan Rafeal has had little time to prep the team and other coaching sources were not utilized by Italy.

Other winners were China over hosts Korea, Sweden over Norway with a much needed win and Scotland over former leaderboard toppers Russia.

Next Game is at 3:30 pm Korea time which is past my bed time; will update the ranks and provide a summary in the morning. Sorry, folks I love curling but I do love my sleep (and wife) a little more.

Joe might have to figure out how to coach, now that his golden boy is gone. Not looking good if that's what Canada has to rely on.
