Dave Kawahara (right) receives NOCA Volunteer Award
from Kris Woznesensky, Regional Director for the Northern Ontario Curling
Association.
Dave has been recognized for his contributions to our Club and to
wheelchair curling. Dave is a current member of the FWCC Board of Directors and
a pioneer for wheelchair curling in Thunder Bay and Northern Ontario. He led the
formation of Thunder Bay Wheelchair Curling and was a major driver of our Club's
elevator project in addition to leading efforts to bring both the Provincial and

Congratulations Dave! This recognition is much-deserved.
