After 4 draws plus a comment

Today saw the second day of the 2013 Canadian wheelchair curling championships in Ottawa and below you are going to find the results and the standings but first a comment.

As most of you know we have been LIVE streaming the games out of the RA center and yesterday we had some major problems. We invested in a fix and today in our opinion it was much better....

UNTIL.....

We received an email questioning our ability to provide better coverage of the games. We were told that our coverage did not match what was given during the recent World championships in Sochi, Russia. Well, I do need to point a few differences our between us and Russia who was operating on the Olympic/Paralympic budget.

1. The have a budget of about, let's say 10 million dollars - we do not

2. They have a FULL production crew of say 200 - we do not, we have 3 volunteers

3. They have millions of dollars on equipment - we do not, we have what we have and I am sorry if that is not good enough

4. They had 100 mega per second of download speed - again we do not we have 12 mps

I could go on but most of you I would hope get the picture. Morgan, Trevor and I do this as a passion for the sport and a want to see the coverage this sport deserves. As for the CCA, they support us fully and to the best of their ability and we THANK THEM VERY MUCH.

We do this for the love of the game! I personal have invested thousands of my personal $$$ in order to do the best we can; along with many volunteer hours by all of us,  to help promote this sport to the next level with aspirations that TSN or CBC will one day put it on primetime.

We are sorry if it fails or faults at time, we do the best we can with what we have. Think about what you would have if there was no coverage. I know this is a little rant but it really upset us today when we put so much in to this to be insulted for so little. If you want better please support us in our efforts and not knock us down for what we give for FREE.
