Sales will start on 27 September for Russia's first ever Paralympic Games.

Tickets for the Sochi 2014 Paralympic Winter Games will go on sale on 27 Sepetember, the organising committee has announced.

Sochi 2014 will see athletes from 45 different conutries compete over nine days of competition in five sports - alpine skiing, biathlon, cross country skiing, ice sledge hockey and wheelchair curling. With the inclusion of para-snowboard in the alpine skiing programme, Sochi 2014 will be the biggest winter Games in Paralympic history.

A total of 1,650 athletes and officials will attend the Games between 7-16 March.

Full details about how tickets can be purchased will be revealed on 27 September.
