(WKTV) - Athletes from around the world will compete this weekend at the Utica Curling Club for the Ninth Annual Wheelchair Curling Competition.
There are teams from Korea, Russia, Scotland and Canada. This year, 14 teams are competing, making it the second-largest competition in the world. This competition is one of the final events in preparation for the world championships that take place in Finland in February. The event is free and open to the public. Games are scheduled for 8 a.m., 11:15 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. Saturday. Finals will be Sunday. |
