As the world leader in reporting on wheelchair curling, we hope you can help us continue our commitment to expand our coverage opportunities. The wheelchair curling community needs your help!
Experience firsthand the pride we take in supporting our cause. As little as $5 can make the difference!
For five years the Wheelchair Curling Blog 2 has had the honour of providing exclusive and sole online webstreamed coverage of the Canadian Wheelchair Curling Championship, this year being held in Boucherville, Quebec from April 27 to May 3, 2015. Family, friends and avid curlers and curling fans from around the world have enjoyed our annual efforts to provide this service.
While we work with the World Curling Federation and the Canadian Curling Association to provide live online coverage of wheelchair curling events throughout Canada and the world to showcase the sport and the athletes who play it, we are, unfortunately, under-supported in terms of funding grants.
Our online coverage this year will provide nearly 250,000 viewers in Canada and around the world with shot-by-shot action from the Opening Ceremonies through to the Closing Ceremonies.
We are constantly trying to improve the production of the live streams with personal investments in equipment, since the minimal funding we receive is only sufficient to cover basic expenses.
We are setting up this online fundraising webpage to raise $$$$$ through donations from people like you… so that we continue to provide this much needed coverage and to expand our abilities to provide that coverage.
Your support in the form of a donation to Wheelchair Curling Blog 2 would go a long way toward helping us achieve our ultimate goal: To increase the exposure of the sport and the athletes who compete each year.
Your support will assure not only the success of the Canadian Wheelchair Curling Championship but the continuation of coverage for the sport of wheelchair curling throughout Canada and the world.
