Newfoundland & Labrador Host Intorduction Clinic

St. John's Curling Club
In efforts to continually grow the sport of wheelchair curling in a province which is relatively new to it; Coach Walsh along with members of the 4 time provincial representatives will be hosting an introduction clinic this Saturday at the St. John’s Curling Club (Remax Center)

Wheelchair curling started in Newfoundland and Labrador only 4 years ago when a handful of experienced athletes got together along with one of the provinces top coaches make their mark in the sport. With only 1 change in 4 years this team has the only female skip in Canada; if not the world, in Joanne MacDonald. The clinic will also have Felix Green, CCA featured athlete of the week which was fgeatured on this blog earlier, follow his name link for more information on Felix.

There success continues to grow and this introduction clinic is meant to build on that success, come join Team Newfoundland & Labrador at ….

Please make sure you bring a dry cloth to clean your wheels as Snow and Salt can damage the ice… Also dress warm from your head to your toes!
