NOCA Final Day (Completed)

As we look ahead today for a new Northern Ontario Wheelcahir champ we have 2 great teams which will take over.

Carl Levesque - Skip
Carl Levesque is a player whom I meet a number of years ago. He had great  promise then and once again will get his shot at the biggest show in Canada. He has developed his game to show great knowledge and has always been a great thrower. If he can remain calm and play his game not only should he win the NOCA titlr but could sky rocket to thee hiden gem of the Nationals.

Team Levesque (Fort William Curling Club)

 Skip: Carl Levesque
Third: Rick Bell
Second: Mel Prairie
Lead: Sharon LaFroye
Coach: David Kawahara

Team Prud'Homme is a complete surpise to me but in speaking with their coach it is no surprise that they are in the finals with the oppunity to be NOCA Champions. Their coach is one of the sponsors working for (owner)  MEDIchair. The team for me is a surprise with a great outlook for where this sport should be going.

Team Prud'Homme (Sudbury Curling Cub)

Skip: Rick Prudhomme
Third: Sarah Lashbrook
Second: Dennis Duclos
Lead: Norm Martel
Coach: Norm Gervais

The situation is a simple one for Levesque; win this morning and he is champion and off to Nations. Lose and face one more opportunity against the same team (Prud'homme) to see if you can make the trip to Thunderbay. What are the odds of a perfect three and O team losing twice today?

Lets  find out who will be the NEW NOCA champion
