The brainchild of Marion Murdoch this fun competition was a winner and enjoyed by all. With the added twist of 2 extra stones out front in play before the start of each end, it made for interesting ends, not least the possibility of a 9 ender!

Included in the day was a feast of soup and sandwiches for lunch with the star turn being homemade scones with jam and cream by the catering staff Linda and Janet!

Some really good curling was on display but at the end of the day the prize winners were Jim Sellars , Gill Keith, Keith Thorn and Blair Murray. The new salver for this annual competition was presented to the winners by Blair Murray. Runners up were Ian Donaldson, Arthur Bell, Leslie Barr and Valerie Robertson.

Watch out for the date next year, you don’t want to miss it.
